Keep 'em Commin' Back BBQ Sauce
Ingredients:
1 small bottle Open Pit BBQ sauce(original)
1 small bottle Heinze Chili Sauce
1 small bottle Heinze ketchup
1 small bottle Heinze Worcestershire sauce
1 #303 size can crushed pineapple with juices
1 pound dark brown sugar
2+ cups Kikoman soy sauce
2+ cups good cooking sherry
2 Tablespoon Liquid smoke
2 Tablespoon Lawry's season salt
2 Tablespoon Garlic Powder
Directions:
In a large sauce pan combine all ingredients and simmer for 20-30 min. Store at room temp for up to six months. Make it now for the entire BBQ season.
Notes:
Makes about a gallon of the greatest BBQ sauce you have ever wrapped your lips around. Baste your ribs, chicken, ham, bologna (aka Tennessee Fillet), Bratwurst, hamburgers, hot dogs, etc, frequently during cooking time. Best to make extra meat the aroma attracts visitors of many descriptions.. Perhaps even a one legged restaurant critic.

I personally have had this sauce on all his suggested meats but my first choice is still bologna cooked on the spit basted for about an hour with this fine sauce. In all honesty I did lie once to my neighbors. They were attracted to the aroma and when I sliced them off a piece I told them it was a Danish ham that I had imported just for their block party.... I told them the truth when I sobered up.
